When they first appeared over 40 years ago, sneakers where only a cheap alternative to a good-old pair of shoes. But over the years they were transformed into a fashion icon and even more, like Converse for example, they are considered a symbol of the American Pop Culture.

In our days they can be found all over the earth promoted and sold by famous brands like Nike, Adidas, Converse, DC Shoes, Etnies, Vans and the list goes on. And we all know, when something is embraced by the masses, the stars are the first to take advantage of this.

The pure definition of being a star is to be noticed by as many people as possible through the most expensive, extravagant and sometimes most outrages things around there. Sneakers are not an exception.

When a star buys a pair of sneakers you can be sure it will be a very special one. Where do they get this special shoes? Well from stores, boutiques from all over the world, especially from USA(where else!?) and Japan.

In USA we can found unique and expensive shoes at stores like RIFLA or Atlanta’s Laced Up Boutique. At RIFLA, they mostly have retro, vintage pairs which can be sold for up to 12000$. Here you can very often found sneakers in-love stars like Bow Wow, Will Smith, etc.

Atlanta’s Laced Up Boutique has recently launched a customization service called Solitaire Kicks which practically puts on a pair of sneakers, everything you want from different colored diamonds to platinum or gold. Their first pair of custom Nike’s is priced at 50.000$…. and even more, it was a gift to hip-hop singer Antwan Patton. So, Antwan Patton probably has the most expensive pair of sneakers in the world.

Customization, collectables and limited editions. If you are a celebrity, then your sneakers should be defined by one of this things. Customization can take various forms, it can be from hand-crafting a pair of sneakers with diamonds, gold, etc. like those 50.000$ Nike’s above or we can talk about custom painting a pair of sneakers. This one is the newest trend and it can be mostly found at Converse sneakers. Collectables are a bit more expensive and harder to find for example, Air Jordan Kings County Spiz’ikes are more than precious for a hardcore sneakers fan. Limited editions, this aren’t as expensive as the previous ones and they really aren’t as appreciated by stars because they just aren’t unique. A pair of ltd. editions shoes, like Nike limited edition Air Force Ones, which were produced in only 40 pairs can cost up to 1500$, not to shabby, eh?

So, if you aren’t a star but you have 1000$ or more just hanging around then a special pair of sneakers is just what you need.

When trying to choose a motivational speaker for you next event it’s wise to do a google search on top motivational speakers. You wouldn’t want to invite someone without searching about him on google.

Did you ever noticed that all pop stars copy after each other?  I mean they all have the same let’s say “road” in their career.  Wanna know the things they do in their “road” ? Well, you will now.

1. The “sweet” first appearance

At the beginning every pop star has something special, something that makes you want to listen to them and to look at them. In this first “thing” they do, pop stars look like little kids brought for the first time in the park, they are “sweet”, you can even say they have an “innocent” look.

2. Becoming a “party animal”

If you are a star, a celebrity with whom do you hang-out?  With other stars, of course.  And what do stars like to do?  To party,  and if you are a pop star, partying is a big part of your life.  One night at a club with some friends, the other night with other friends, and so on until you are a “party animal”.

3. Scandals

This is something which rationally comes if you are a “party animal”.  Scandals usually appear because of the paparazzi. And what do paparazzi like?  Stars, especially pop stars who like to party. One wrong move from a celebrity and the first scandal appear, then the media wants more and more and finally a star has more to do with  scandals than with  its actual  career.

4.A new look and style

After all of that scandals and with a lot of problems, pop stars try to reinvent themselves.  Practically they just try to clean up their image a little. No more partying (at least for a while), a few charities, a couple of new songs, etc.  For some it works for other it doesn’t.

5.Not a pop star anymore

If the new look and style doesn’t work out for a star then they are pretty much doomed. After a while, even their most loyal fans start to get bored with them so the media starts to loose interest for the pop star and finally we can say about him/her “Not a pop star anymore”.
